Austin Aker claimed the official victory at Anderson Motor Speedway on Fri, March 20, 2008. This was Austin first race in the C – Mini Asphalt Division. Aker led every lap of the race but the victory did not come easily. Jack Kelly pressed Aker throughout the race and made a last lap bid to over take him but fell short by a foot at the finish line. Aker held Kelly off on the final lap and took the victory by about a foot. Jack Kelly finished second.  Brandon Hendrix finished third. Avery Burgess finished fourth. Terry Mulkey finished fifth.

Austin also finished 3^rd at Travelers Rest Speedway on Sun, March 22, 2009. This was Austin’s first race on dirt. Looks like Austin Aker Racing is on its way to a successful season on dirt and asphalt.
